Foundation License Courses and Exams Our club can host weekends for foundation license courses and exams. This entry level license is easy to obtain and provides you with the necessary skills to be an Amateur Radio operator. You can also upgrade to a Standard or Advanced license later on. Lighthouse / Lightship WeekendThe club activated the new Caloundra Lighhouse for the International Lighthouse / Lightship weekend in 2014. The team was: Andy VK4TH, Kerry VK4FKDB, Sharon VK4FSRB, Reg & YL VK4AQU. More information about the International Lighthouse / Lightship weekend can be found here. Annual Club Camping Event The club comes together once a year and invites all members and their families to join for a long weekend camping. We are currently looking for a suitable location and any suggestions are welcome. Everybody is welcome. We are planning many fun activies in addition to lots of camp oven food and - of course - lots of ham radio talk and activity.
